Dr. Joseph M. Dziezgowski, D.C., C.C.S.P.

Doctor of Chiropractic
Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician

"If you don't take time for your health, you will definitely take time for your sickness"

My first experience with chiropractic came at the age of 13; it was summer vacation and I was just getting ready for my day when out of nowhere came this pain in my head and neck (like nothing I had experienced before.) It was like a hot piece of steel shooting through my body; I was suddenly unable to turn my head or lift my arms because of the intense pain. I did not know what was going on, and quite frankly, I was scared. After calling my mom at work she immediately took me to a local chiropractor (thanks Mom). After a thorough examination, the doctor told me I was suffering from a condition known as "torticollis" that was most likely due to an injury I received a few months prior to this episode. Within minutes of my first adjustment I felt instant relief and I felt human again. Right then I knew Chiropractic was something special.

Fast forward, years later while working in a local emergency room and seeing people come in with conditions that, with some forethought, were totally preventable, sparked a conversation with my chiropractor. I asked him why this occurred, why don't people think more about prevention. My chiropractor told me that "traditional health care, which is reactive, focuses on our symptoms, waiting until there is a problem and then trying to manage the affects (if it doesn't hurt I must be healthy.) This is what we have been thought to think. Chiropractic, on the other hand, focuses more on prevention of disease and the preservation of health; (a more proactive approach), "Little did I know that from that point on my course was set. "

After a few years of toying with different careers (and marrying my lovely wife), my heart led me back to my desire to help improve peoples lives naturally; to help them be proactive about their health so they may be happy and healthy for a lifetime, without drugs and surgery.

Now, I get to live everyday watching people's lives change for the better and seeing them live well and thrive!

I hope that we can help you maximize your health potential too!
